I think I posted this porridge place not too long ago. I went back there again all because a few of us wanted to eat porridge. This is the dinner that we had before we went for supper at OldTown in yesterday's post.
Creature of habits maybe? We order almost the same thing.
The taman fish that's fried till very crispy with dark sauce. Ugly but delicious food. LOL
The chicken in wine sauce, that's almost becoming standard.
My favourite vegetable to go with porridge. Heard some people said Sze Chuan Cai is not good for health, but we still ate it anyway.
The Mei Cai Kou Rou. Today's version seems nicer. Maybe the cook's in a really good mood today eh?
Cai Poh Eggs, another favourite with many people.
Aubergine with mince pork. Comfort food too.

Prince Taiwan Porridge @ Cheong Chin Nam Road
This was our family dinner on Sunday night. The nights are cool these days and it's nice to have porridge. I think there are many people who seems to be craving porridge these days too. (You know who you are. )
We went to Prince Taiwan Porridge. There's two porridge places along this road.
We noticed something though. People seem to shift their liking. Some weeks you see everyone goes to the Hokkien place, and the Cantonese one is quiet. On other weeks, the Cantonese ones are packed and only a few people at the Hokkien place. We wonder why?
But as a Hokkien, we always seem to like this Hokkien porridge more. Cantonese porridge has dishes that are too 'cold' for us. :-p
As usual, we always order the same old stuff. Dont know why, but we just expect the person ordering to order it. LOL
Chicken in wine sauce on a mini wok.
The kangkong with garlic.
The Mei Cai Kou Rou.
This was something new on the menu I think. These crispy fish are yummy. The next time we come here, we might order it again.
The without fail dish, Chai Por Nerng.
I love the sze chuan veg and thinly sliced pork.
The minced pork with aubergine.
We all ate the dishes with sweet potato porridge. The porridge warms our heart.
Oh, there's free flow of rice and porridge if you are a 'rice bin'.
Food's not super spectacular, but it's just comfort food nearby for us.

Prince Taiwan Porridge @ Cheong Chin Nam Road
Last Wednesday nite, we attended a concert that our cousin was performing in. Had to rush there after work. Met sis and off we went and met uncle and aunt. After the concert, we headed to Cheong Chin Nam Road to have supper.
It's late and we seldom have supper, so we opted for porridge. We ate at the Taiwanese Porridge shop, just beside Killeney.
You can have rice or porridge with sweet potato. We all had porridge.
The Mei Cai Kou Rou that we had.
Sze Chuan Vegetables with Pork. I like szechuan vegetable anything! haha..
The Chai Por Egg. I like Chai Por with anything too!
The Inoki Mushroom, Shitake Mushroom and Pork.
The Fried Beef.
This is a place to add to the list of where to get late nite makan. It seems that the Cantonese Porridge shop a few doors away is very packed. But Aunt who lives in the area said, prefer hot food rather than cantonese style where the food is cold only the porridge is hot. :-)
