We walked around after lunch at Zhou's Kitchen. Walking does burn away calories and make you tired and thirsty! Before we know it, we got a text message from aunt telling us if anyone's interested for a tea break, she's at Cedele, taking a break.
We were happy to receive the text and quickly appeared at Cedele to join her and uncle.
Aunt felt like eating something, so we got the tea set that consists of a drink and a scone.
Aunt had the cranberry scone. We all pinched a little bit and yes, it's nice!
Coffee.. (for the caffeine addict hehe)
Aunt needs a coffee in the afternoon!
I had something sweet and sour!
Sweet Honey with Sour Calamansi. Very refreshing.
Cheers! A green tea something with chocolate something.
Momo says she loves the chocolate drink here.
While chatting, we realised we all call this place by differently.
Momo says her colleagues calls it "Sir Dell", and confidently said her other colleagues asked their ang moh colleagues, it should be like that.
I think it was aunt who said "See Dell".
I always call it "See Dell Lay".
How? So who is right? I decided to ask the people working there how to pronounce Cedele. I walked up to the counter and ask! It turns out I was the closest!
Oh, it's pronounced "See Dell Lee" said the chirpy service staff.
And now you know too. So, how have you been calling it?

Zhou's Kitchen @ Square 2
This was Sunday lunch at Zhou's Kitchen, Square 2. Aunt had some rebate vouchers from dining here previously and thought we would use it today. But we did not read the fine prints on the voucher. Vouchers can only be used on weekdays! haha..
So we paid without using the vouchers. Guess what, after paying for the meal, we had even more vouchers from them. Is that how they are making people come back for more?
We thought of having the a la carte buffet, but it's not served till 2.45 pm, so we just order off the usual menu.
It is everyone in the family's favourite. Sliced Pork with garlic sauce.
Do we seem to be eating this everywhere we go?
The Crispy Silver Fish with Salted Pepper. It is nice and crispy and I love it with their chilli (with tow cheo) that's on every table. ;-)
This is nice. Pan-fried Beef Tenderloin with Black Pepper. It is very tender and it's one of those things that when you tasted it, you want more.
This is Braised Spinach Beancurd with Mushrooms and Vegetables.
(As usual, I like the vegetables more than the beancurd. hehe)
Stewed Eggplant with Minced Pork and Salted Fish. Another of our favourite. Ya, we know salted fish is carcinogenic, but it taste good. So how? Don't order it as often lah, and eat broccoli for few days after eating this. :-p
Can't remember the name of this dish, but all we remember is this chicken soup is very very nice. It has lots of lotus seeds and some gel like substance (that we always forget to ask what it is).
It comes in a huge serving bowl before it was scooped into the little bowls. Inside the pot was this spring chicken. It's a naked, skinless chicken! haha..
Oops, the next dish turned out to be a soupy dish as well!
So there's chicken soup and now we have fish soup. haha
It's fish slices with loofa and black fungus. Aunt said it's a good idea and we would have this at home next time. It's quite a nice soup!
We were stuffed, but to end it with a sweet note, we had a tiny dessert. Mango Soft Rolls. Four tiny bits shared by 5 persons. hehe
Remember to read the fine prints if you are using vouchers. :-)
Have a great week! I am on leave these few days (clearing my leave) and using it to rest (i.e. sleep!)

Zhou's Kitchen @ Square 2 (Part II)
Part II of the High tea buffet.
When you sit down, you get this basket of delicious keropok!
Keropokman LOVES these keropok! They go so so well with the thai style chilli sauce. yum! ;-)
The drunken chicken.
It was nice, but if it was colder it would be even nicer.
Beef slices. Can't really remember the name of this dish.
Steam Pork Ribs.
Phoenix Claws.
I realise without my colleagues who are mad about these eating with me, it's not as enjoyable eating the claws. haha...
The kids on the table loves this. Fried Fish Skin.
This sliced pork with garlic is very delicious. I think I ate quite a lot of this!
It goes well with porridge too!
This is pork slices with jelly fish.
Dough Fritteres with Mayo.
Century Egg porridge with lean pork.
If you want more century egg, you can order this.
BBQ Pork Bun. I kinda like this because I ate a few of it! LOL...
Deep fried chicken that looks small and dry. But somehow it was quite appetizing and I ate quite a bit of it.
Nice place to pig out without costing too much.
You got to make a reservation. The place is very very packed with people.
