At Vivocity, Dempsey, Great World City and the Singapore Zoo.
There's Free Cone Day on Wheels too! Find out where here.
Delicious food adventures of Keropok Man in Singapore.
If you went to any Ben & Jerry's outlets in Singapore last month, you would have seen posters like this one shown below. They were running a 2 Scoops 2 Scary contest. I did drop in a contest form. I was hoping I could win it.
Guess what? The PR folks from Ben & Jerry's saw my blog post about it and they emailed me that I can follow them as an invited blogger! Yey!
It's Ben & Jerry's Trick-and-Treat, so we did eat ice cream a few times. My first scoop was at Vivo City where it was the starting point. We were to vist 5 different outlets and then to Night Safari.
At the third outlet which was the outlet at Dempsey, we had a quick dinner break. It was quite fun to see their staff dressed up in various costumes.
The dinner is more like a 'snack'. There was deep fried drumlets.
And platters of bruschetta with different fillings and mini pies.
(so so only lah... I guess the main stuff was ice cream not these stuff)
We all had a voucher to redeem a "Flower Bowl of Sundae".
Now would you like your ice cream served by a princess or a witch?
Think this was my 2nd or 3rd ice cream for the night. I like my ice cream.
The trip around was the different outlets were draggy. We can't blame the organisers. It was pouring cats and dogs that night. Traffic in Singapore crawls whenever it rains. To go to The Cathay's outlet, we had to pass through the traffic clogged Orchard Road. I think everywhere was packed with people because there was Halloween parties everywhere.
But we did have the company of local Moosicians Jack and Rai who followed us on the trip. We were in 2 different buses, but I got into the second bus because I was 'slow' but it was good because we had Jack and Rai in the bus. They entertained us by singing.
After trick and tricking at 5 outlets, where the 50 winners were playing games, we went to Night Safari.
We got to see the Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard. The most exciting part of the night was the Train of Terror ride. (Shhh, tell you a secret, it was my first time to Night Safari) I think Night Safari is really interesting. I would like to go there again!
Thanks to the PR folks at Ben & Jerry's for inviting me to the trip.
Oh, I found out something interesting. I met the Brand Champion of Ben & Jerry's. Can you guess his name? His name was Ben! I wonder how many of their staff have names called Ben or Jerry.
If you would like view a pictorial essay of the whole night, click here to view it.
We had a short quick stop for Ice Cream after dinner tonight.
Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Therapy and Coconut 7 Layer with Chocolate Sauce and a waffle bowl. Need I say anything else? hehe..
Do you know today is National M&M's Day? I saw a tweet about it. But I can't find any info on it on any website though. Anyway, in remembrance of M&Ms Day, my cousin picked M&Ms for the toppings. ;-)

Oh ya, if you buy two scoops of more of ice cream, they give you this form to fill so that you can join in the "2 Scoops 2 Scary Tour of Mischief and Mayhem". I put in my form. :-)
One of our favourite ice cream. We are having less of this nowadays to save on calories, but every now and then we do indulge in it. ;-)
(ya, 'ice' told me before it has some ingredients that are not so pronounceable, but... favourites are hard to change. lol)
So, are you a 'chunk spelunker? I think I am!

Oh no.. Ice cream post again. haha.. It seems once you start you can't stop. This was
taken on Apr 30. Why? Apr 29 was the Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day. We did not want to queue for it. There's just too many people queuing. So the next day, we all came to have our Ben & Jerry outing day. haha...
One colleague had a single cone.
Another colleague ordered this. Cookies with ice cream.
Three other guys, we shared this 3 scoop thingy. With colourful toppings!
Yumm.....
Did anyone queue for the Ben & Jerry Free Cone Day?
Continuation of yesterday's post, but under a different header. :-)
Yesterday I had a shot of how it looked outside, this is how it looks inside.
Not satisfied with just having 2 desserts, we ordered more. We wanted to try more desserts, but wondering which one to order. We were recommended to try "CA Experience (for 2)". $16.90 We get to taste so many kinds of their desserts!
It was delicious! Cheesecakes, 2 scoops of ice cream, etc...
I should not describe how it taste here, it might do injustice to it. You should try it yourself!
My favorite is the 2nd piece on the left beside the ice cream. It's a mix of chocolate, coffee and hazelnuts.
Last Sunday, after having lunch, uncle was driving us home when he took the Holland Rd route. Suddenly he decided to turn into Dempsey Road, since it was early. While driving up the road, a little sign with the word "Ben & Jerry" on the roadside caught our cousin's eye.
OK, now we have a purpose!. Look for ice cream! It took us some time, because we had a wrong turn and ended up back at Holland Road. We found the place eventually at 8 Dempsey Rd, #01-14.
If you are wondering the title is CA California, but this following photo shows Ben & Jerry. Well, it's the same place. Ice Cream is ordered at the counter for Ben & Jerry. Other food you order while seated at the table and its by CA California.
The old army barracks has been transformed to look like a range! There are those big and over sized chairs. It kind of remind me of this character in Sesame Street that reads story on a big over sized chair. Hmmm anyone remembers?
Since we already had lunch, we ordered desserts to share. Wondering what to order, we were recommended their specials. (by the boss I think)
This is the CA Hot Fudge Mud Pie $4.50. Sis says that it looks like a little coffin. I wonder if it's suppose to mean death by chocolate? It is really nice.
We were also recommended this Zen Apple Mousse. You get apple chunks/cubes inside the soft cake thingy. It's cold and the tiny hint of green apple sourness makes it such a delight!
Uncle and aunt saw "Happy Hotdog" $7 on the menu, and they ordered it. Hmm wonder if the name has any significance to them. They seem to smile at each other and ordered it. *speculating* haha...
Though we had our lunch, the above is definitely not enough for us right? Find out more tomorrow! hehe...
(pardon the grainy photos today, the place was a bit dark)
I think I have too much ice cream for the weekend. Just around a few hours ago, I had the muddy mud pie from Coffee Club.
Yesterday, after dinner, I had some Ben & Jerrys.
Actually yesterday morning, I also had Dark Choc Gelato from Magnolia that's in my freezer.
Do you like ice cream like me? hehe...
