Not sure if anyone also watch the Japanese documentary / comedy on Okto last night. Sis happened to channel surf and stop at this show called "Udon". It was a really funny show. Bro, Sis and I were laughing our heads off. We were also so tempted to have udon!
So for tonight's dinner, Momo, Bro and Sis went to The Central to have Udon!
The shop that caught our eye was Wakashachiya with the big words "Japanese Curry Udon" on their signboard. We wanted to have the Udon prepared like how it was shown on TV last night, with only udon, soy sauce and finely chopped spring onions. Guess we can't find that here.
So, we ordered 4 different curry udons so satisfy our Udon craving.
Momo had the Salmon Curry Udon.
Sis had the Fried Chicken Cutlet Udon.
Bro had the pork katsu curry udon.
I had the Karaage Curry Udon.
I must show a photo of Udon right? The ones above are all covered with curry. :-)
The curry's nice. The 4 of us found that the curry is not too thick, it was just nice for us to slurp it loudly. (We were doing what we watched on TV last night. LOL) It's not too sweet a curry too and all 4 of us had to keep blowing our noses while eating because it was spicy enough.
The 'namecard' at the payment counter states that they have been serving curry udon for over 20 years and they have 63 branches in Japan too. Maybe gotta some in Japan next time.
