No Signboard Seafood @ VivoCity

We were celebrating a belated birthday for Sis and an advance birthday for Bro. Uncle and aunt was giving them a birthday treat and we went to No Signboard.

We started with the 'cold dish'. Love nibbling these stuff :-)

The 'jiang cong' (gingner and spring onion) venison. Delicious.
(By the way, we see there's no beef in the menu, and we told the boss does not eat beef - religious reasons.)

The sea cucumber claypot.

The sambal kangkong.

We were here to eat the White Pepper Crabs!
Two Sri Lankan crabs. Yumm....

Lovely lovely crabs.

This looks like a bird with a big beak isn't it?

We enjoyed the 'jiang cong' stuff so much, that we ordered a version with chicken.
The truth, the crab's too spicy for the kiddo, so this was ordered to feed her. hehe...

Yummy dinner.

No Signboard Seafood Restaurant @ VivoCity

It's our aunt's birthday today. Indeed she has been a great blessing from God to us. So sis, bro and I, we gave her, uncle and cousin a treat today.

We booked a place at No Signboard Seafood at Vivo City. We have not been to this branch before. Many reviews says it has the most 'atas' deco amongst all its branches.

If you have been to other branches, this branch does look very opulent compared to other branches.

We had the Deep Fried Baby Squid. This is one of aunt's favourite. (uncle and cousin's too)

For veg, we had the sambal kangkong. Spicy and nice ;-)

This is the Sea Cucumber with Seafood in Claypot. Uncle and aunt both love sea cucumber. It's sis fav too.

Cereal Prawns. Another of aunt's favourite. (and also all of us too. haha..)
Uncle was joking, we are eating tomorrow's breakfast a few hours early. (if you don't get it, hint: cereals)

The crabs to be eaten at No Signboard. Their White Pepper Crab. Their specialty here. We had 2 Sri Lankan crabs. Yes, you guessed it. Aunt loves crabs!

We hope aunt enjoyed her dinner. Happy Birthday Aunt! May our heavenly Father continue to bless you most bountifully.

No Signboard Seafood - Part 2

Other than the crab dishes yesterday, we also had other things. There was like 12 of us eating.

This is the cold dish. Look at the nicely carved carrorts. People say that they will be recycled is it true?

The different combi of the cold dish.

For those with not so good eyesight, zoom in for you. haha..

Do you all like Jelly Fish?

This is toufu stuffed pockets. Rather tasty and interesting.

Prawns, the prawn is looking at you!

This is rather unusual. This is mango chicken. Deep fried chicken plus mango on the side.

Fishcakes!

Sambal Asparagus. yum yum...

This is "kiam hee" salted fish fried rice.

Tata.

No Signboard Seafood - Part 1 - Pepper and Chilli Crabs

Looks like no one got it right for yesterday's quiz!

It's called "No Signboard Restaurant" - wu jiao pai.
Maybe that's why you all can't guess, told you the signboards were a decoy. :-p

There's too many photos for one day, so I will split it into two.
Today shall be the Chilli and Pepper Crabs.

While you wait for the food to come up, you eat peanuts! haha..

Here's the chilli crabs.

This is the pepper crabs.

For chilli crabs, you eat them with buns. There are two kinds of buns. The plain steaamed ones or the steamed and then deep fried kinds.

We ate other things, come back tomorrow to view the rest of the pictures.
