Planning that something special for your special half, your family or friends? Here's something from St. Regis Singapore that might just be for you.
St. Regis Singapore has a few restaurants that might interest you. I was at St. Regis recently to sample what's available for their Christmas and New Year's menu, at both their French Restaurant - Brasserie Les Saveurs and their Italian Restaurant - LaBrezza. If you are looking for take-aways, there are delicacies available at La Pâtisserie too.
French @ Brasserie Les Saveurs:
Artichoke and Potato Soup
One of the soups that you can try at Brasserie Les Saveurs. We were served this comforting and creamy soup with Boston lobsters with a 'bark' of squid ink polenta. Don't take your time, quickly bite into the 'bark', it will turn soft very quickly, especially when there's tarragon foam on it.

Filet Mignon en Brioche. Fancy having a Tenderloin with Foie Gras wrapped with Prosciutto and then wrapped in Brioche, served with Perigord Sauce for your New Year's Even dinner? Some of you can prepare this yourself, but if you can't, you know where to get it.
I made a mess of it cutting it too quickly and cut through the meat.
Seared Tenderloin and Foie Gras wrapped with Prosciutto to give it a hint of cured meat indulgence. The whole thing is then wrapped in Brioche. It's truffle season and this dish is served with perigord sauce, a wine reduction sauce made with truffles. You should try this dish!
Italian @ LaBrezza:
It's the truffles season and we had an amuse bouche of Poached Egg with Shaved Black Truffle.
A nice warm egg to start your meal here.

Mediterranean Sea Bass Cappellacci.
If you are a pasta person who loves wheat, your kind of food. It's like XXL sized stuffed pasta. I am not a fan of food with lots of wheat, but I like sea bass. So I demonstrated bad table manners during this dish by sheepishly digging out nicely the fillings to enjoy with the delicious sauce.
Pasta lovers will love their pasta. My sis will like it, she's a fan of pasta or anything wheat.
Take-aways @ La Pâtisserie:
I know some people have large families or it's difficult to manage growing kids and yet you want to indulge in some fine cuisine. Book ahead at the take-out counter at St Regis. It will be available at La Pâtisserie.
We were quite stuffed after tasting so many dishes. The Chef pushed out a cart with the whole Roasted Muscovy Duck to be served with Orange Sauce to show off his pride. We all had 2-3 slices of it and it was a nicely roasted duck. Yes, this is a species of duck that's large in size.
Also available at the Takeaway counter, 2 very different log cakes, one that is actually low-sugar. Chocolate Passion Royal Log Cake is made to indulge. Made from chocolate mousse with passion fruit creme brulee and a layer of feuilletine.
The lighter choice is the Red Berries with Pistachio Sponge Log Cake. It's made using a low-sugar concoction of vanilla creme, strawberry jelly, strawberry creameux and pistachio sponge.
I will go for the Chocolate!
If Christmas Stollen is your indulgence, the ones here as the better ones that I have tried so far this year. Stollens are so good because they have just the delicious (read insane) amount of butter and fruits in it.
For St Regis Supper Club members, there are discounts available. Call them to find out the discounts.
