Think you have seen this before, but this happens to be my dinner tonight. While we were away last week, we were thinking of food we get back home! One of the food we saw was Nasi Lemak, but it was selling for like AUD6-8, (in a open air market some more) a bit hard to swallow.
It also happened that our stomachs still has not adjusted back to local time. I was totally famished at 6 PM, despite snacking on Meiji Plain Crackers at 5. SMS-ed sis if she wanted dinner, she said yes, and she was also so hungry.
So on the way home, we had takeaways. 2 packs of Nasi Lemak.
For both packs, we had the chicken wings. The chicken wings always taste good. Especially if they are freshly fried. If not, wait for it. hehe..
I think most people order differently when they go to Fong Seng, most people seem to top it with different kinds of the fried stuff. We always have 1 fried chicken wing and 2 vegs.
The pack above had chilli lady fingers and long beans (hidden).
The pack below also had lady fingers, but with achar.
Satisfied our cravings. ;-p

Fong Seng Nasi Lemak @ Clementi Road
Few days ago, colleagues and I we went to Fong Seng Nasi Lemak along Clementi Road to have lunch. Realise that we all did not really ordered real Nasi Lemak. So the photos are not of Nasi Lemak! haha..
But the Chicken Wings at Fong Seng is one of the things that most people will eat. Btw, that's not oil, but the gravy from the veg. :-)
We all ordered rice with the various dishes. Should have taken pictures of people around who are really eating Nasi Lemak.
You can see all the food recommendation posters on the Bain Marie that has all the delicious fried stuff! :-)
Have a super long weekend to those who managed to take the long leave!

Fong Seng Nasi Lemak @ Clementi Road
The other nite, was hungry and tapow-ed food back. Thought of Fong Seng and ok lah. Get some food from there.
They have for sometime used boxes instead of plastic containers. It is suppose to be more environmentally friendly. These boxes supposedly keep the food warm too, and is microwaveable.
Depending on what you order, you pay for it. I thought the big black pepper looking drumstick was interesting. So big some more. I had 2 other veg.
Err.. a bit the expensive lor. $5 for it.
Come to think of it, somethings for $5 we think its expensive, others we think is cheap. haha...
There's this blogger I know, Decay On Net loves to 'chio' pple go Fong Seng. Wonder if he still does it....
