I was told by one of the stall owners here that this stall has the best dessert, so I just trust them and buy it from this stall. :-) Everytime I am here, I will try stuff from here. Maybe the queue tells you that they are popular too.
Don't be afraid of the queue, it gets to your turn rather quickly. Be afraid of what to order. There's too many things and only 1 stomach to fill.
On a hot day, any cold dessert is refreshing!
This is Jelly and Longan. The 'tadpoles rubies' makes them more eye catching.
This is the "cheng terng". The ice covers everything. Just dig in...
This might look like the most 'wrong' chendol. But it looks and taste good too.
The chendol I like is the pale green chendol with coconut milk and gula melaka only.
But this creation is also OK sometimes.
There are other desserts with fanciful names too. Eg "Shi Da Tian Wang" (Four Heavenly Kings), etc... I tried them before. Surprise... LOL

One word: COLOURFUL. :)
Greetings from Canada,
Very interesting looking deserts :)
If I just read the Hanyu pinyin, I thought eating these desserts will make me very "round"...everyday round! hahahahha!
don't you just miss BP's chendol?
Yes Southernoise,
The BP Chendol's the best!
LFB, Just like the plots in your writing. Love it! :-)
Pentel,
You should try them when you visit Singapore.
Tigerfish,
I think you eat lots of desserts, you do get Round. LOL...
Colorful yummies!
your mention of the pale green chendol with gula melaka reminds me of the one at Geylang Serai Market...
