Chili's Singapore - Tanglin Mall

I was at Shangri-La for an event the other day and just as I was walking to Orchard Road, I got a text from sis asking if I wanted to meet up for dinner. I called her back and we decided to meet at Tanglin Mall.

There were a few choices at Tanglin Mall, somehow we ended up having our dinner at Chili's. We chose it because we saw a queue! (Ya, mad right?)

I guess it was a good choice afterall. We suddenly have the deja vu that we are on holidays in the middle of a busy work week. Somehow sitting there reminded us of a holiday. I guess that made two busy person happy for a while!

We went a bit 'crazy' along with the rest by clapping and singing "happy birthday" for the table at the other side of the restaurant. Therapeutic I tell ya!

*** No service charge ***

Oh, no service charge! But you can give tips just like how it's done in the US!
(Or are they reminding us to tip them?? haha)

Chili's Singapore

*** triple play ***

There were only two of us, so we could not order too much without wasting food. We ordered the 'triple play' ($21.90) so that we can have 3 things to try!

Triple Play - Southwestern Egg Rolls with Boneless Buffalo Wings behind

The above is the Southwestern Eggrolls. Just like our popiah!
It was mostly beans and vegetables inside, so it was not our favourite. LOL

Beside it is the Boneless Buffalo Wings. Hmm Were they really wings?

Triple Play - Chicken Crispers

The ChickenCrispers. Strips of chicken that was really lean. The dipping sauces made them taste great.
We liked 2 out of the 3 things there :-)

*** Grilled Baby Back Ribs ***

We ordered the half Grilled Baby Back Ribs ($27.90) to share as well. A little burnt, but it tasted quite good. We had the Sweet Carolina sauce version.

Grilled Baby Back Ribs

The ribs were ok. I guess it was the choice sauce we had? It was sweet because we chose a sweet sauce. We were thinking about the nicer one at  Bistro One Three One last month.

We could have two side dishes, and we had the chips that you see beside the ribs and they told us that they ran out of coleslaw when the ribs was served. So we opted for the corn on cob instead.

Corn on Cob

The corn is very juicy and it was really nice! I guess it was the salt on top of it that made the first bite so tasty!

The bill after the usual 7% GST was $53.30. No service charge added, so it's up to you. ;-)
