Tung Lok Seafood @ Marine Cove (East Coast Park)

Note: Today's post has been brought to you courtesy of Standard Chartered Bank.

Barry and Fin, the two fish that you most probably would have seen on television, invited me for a meal again! This time it is to Tung Lok Seafood. Look at the shock of their faces when it's to another seafood place. LOL!

Other than Barry and Fin from Standard Chartered Bank, we had 2 folks from HungryGoWhere, a rep from 24Seven Communications and LadyIronChef joining me for dinner.

Barry & Finn paid for our meal.

So what was for dinner? We started with this huge Special Chilled Seafood Platter. Just look at it! Ooo... Cold Crabs, Kanpachi Sashimi, Mekajika Sashimi, Thai Style Crab Meat Salad, Fresh Oyster with Chilli Sauce and Mexican Ceviche.

I like the sashimi. The oysters was not bad too.

Our dear Fin had her first ever Oyster! Being a fish, I guess it was hard for her to swallow her fellow sea creatures. haha...

Look at Little Miss Crab. They sure are looking crappy! Look at the stare she is giving me! I have learned to ignore their stares. ;-)

These deep fried prawns with wasabi-mayo sauce is good too. I would personally like it more fiery. I added more wasabi (from the sashimi) to it and it really gave a rush off my head. Woosh!

This is the oven-roasted sliced pork shoulder. It reminds me of Bangkok Street Food. I think many of us liked this.

This the Tung Lok's version of Chilli Crab. It was above average, but did not really wow me.

But the more watery sauce did make some at the table happy. They loved this fried mantou with the chilli crab sauce.

I prefer the Black Pepper Crab. I have my preferred Black Pepper Crab elsewhere, but this is quite ok.

This is nice too. Steamed Razor Clam with garlic. The vermicelli has soaked up all the juices. Really nice!

This pretty dish is Chinese Spinach simmered with Nameko Mushroo in Fish Stock.

We were already full with the above, but we were tempted by the desserts.
This is what some had, the chilled mango pudding.

I had the Chilled Lime Sherbet with Lemongrass Jelly. I liked it.
The lime sherbet was light and refreshing and the lemongrass jelly was nice too.
