Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor™ @ Universal Studio Singapore

Few weeks ago, I was at Universal Studios Singapore and when it was about dinner time, I asked on Twitter for recommendations. Everyone's online 24x7 nowadays, within a few minutes, I had replies from a few people. Almost everyone said I should try Loui's NY Pizza Parlor!

I was at "Far Far Away" land and I asked the Universal Studios Singapore staff where Loui's is. They told me, I got to get to New York at the other end. So, it was quite a walk there.

It was not long before I found the place!

At the front of the restaurant, there is a mock up kitchen and pretend food too!
Just like masak-masak!

At the entrance of the restaurant, I saw this sign and was really happy! Why?

Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor™

The sign claims it has the best New York Style Pizza in Singapore!
Somehow that makes me very happy!

Look at the crowd inside! I was a lone diner that night and was thinking whether I should find a place first or order the food first. I decided to just order the food first.

After getting my food, I walked around the whole restaurant and found no place to sit. Sigh... but two strangers whom I later found out was staff of the Youth Olympic Games were kind enough and invited me to share a table with them. How nice of them!

This was my meal.

I initially ordered just a slice of pizza and a coke. But I was tempted by the chicken wings! Then I was told I could get a slice of New York Cheesecake as a set meal to make it more worth my money!

I had a slice of the Original NY Pepperoni Pizza. $7.80

The slice of pizza was quite big. It covered almost the whole plate. If would be more fun if I had more companion so I could order a whole huge pizza ($32)! Many tables ordered it and it was a giant pizza!

The pizza was quite nice. It was thin crust pizza and there was lots of cheese and pepperoni on it. The bottom of it was a little oily, but it tasted quite good. I finished all of it!

I saw the chicken wings and was tempted. There was a minimum order of three wings though. I thought for a while and decided to order it anyway, when will I be inside Universal Studios again?

I shared the wings with the two strangers who shared the table with me! I told them, I have too much food for 1 person, you are most welcome to take a wing each. Sharing food got us talking and I found out they were YOG staff!

The wings were very well marinated and really tasty! It was also easy to eat as the bones did not stick to the meat.

I ordered this because having it as part of the Pizza, Drinks and Dessert set made this slice of NY Cheesecake I think less than a dollar.

But I did not really like it. It was a bit soft and was not really cold.

Ah... look at the cup! So cute!
There was also fancy containers that you can buy to be filled with soft drinks. I did not get those. I am I am too old for it!

The whole meal was around $15.

i was there last Thursday, they missed our order so they compensate us by giving us a plate of deep fried cheese sticks with salsa sauce on the side. unfortunately, I found a long strand of hair around one of the cheese stick. we made our complain and they gave us a new plate of fried cheese sticks, we didn't finish them because it's not nice.

on the other hand, the NY pepperoni pizza is simply the best. i will definitely go back and try the other flavours. we only ordered one 21' pizza, the table behind us, ordered 3 pizzas.. looks soo beautiful and colourful.
