After this place has open for so long, momo and I finally tried it.
There was no queue when we had lunch on Sunday. We decided to just try the mini sets (i.e. only a burger and a drink without sides etc). The set we had was $5.50 each.
Nice cute packaging. Paper that keeps the burger warm. The drink we had was Buckwheat Tea and Lemongrass Tea.
Soft fluffy burger with a burnt R mark on top.
It's rather unique. A beef patty, pickled daikon and Shiso leaves. Soft fluffy steamed bun.
The top of the bun as you see here is Miso sauce.
The taste is nice as it is something different.
But we had a grouse though. As we have no teflon coated teeth, we got irritated by the soft bun sticking into our teeth with every bite. :-(
I am thinking the next time I have kong-bak bao, maybe I should add in a piece of pickle and mint or basil leaves. Hmm....

singapore food so interesting hor. even that what burger ah? with the rice covering one? couldnt survive in KL. cis!
R Burger must eat the Salmon one... The rest I heard are not so delightful.

R burger is a bit too small for me. ;-) Only tried it once and had to go eat something else. LOL
