Food @ Bukit Timah Food Centre

Today, our family dropped by the Bukit Timah Food Centre to have lunch. I had duck rice which was err, not really nice. Wrong choice to pick.

But sis and aunt felt like eating 'ngo hiong', so they picked a plate to share. The rest of us got to eat it too.

Aunt said that this new stall selling 'Hokkien Mee' is not too bad. So she ordered a bigger portion to share. It's on the left when you come up the main steps, facing the church / Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School.

On the next row, (the same row as the Chwee Kuey stall), the BBQ Chicken wing stall is also fairly recent addition. Their chicken wing's nice. $1 each.

Hope you had a great weekend.

I like the mid-wing section of the chicken wing...*leaves the drumlet on the plate* ...

Now *busy nibbling the tiny index connection to the mid-wing*

LOL!

Duck rice is really fast mah. Did you order from that really big stall near the staircase? Next time, try the curry rice stall. It's really very very good :)

I had a madcap weekend but survived. Best part of a new week? More food pics and reviews! :D

Your 'ngo hiong' is like Malaysian lobak, rite? Is that cuttlefish/squid rolls though? Not seen those before.

Kenny,
Yes, 'ngo hiong' = 'lobak'. Yes those are stuffed squid. Delicious though, if it's done just nice.

MMB,
Chicken wings seems to be everyone's fav. Oh you like the dryer version of Hokkien mee i see :-)
