My Breakfast

Some people asks what do I eat for breakfast? From this post, you will know...

This has been my breakfast since last month! I have been eating this for weeks. I am still not sick of it, but loving it!

What's inside this bowl? 1 organic red apple cut into cubes, 1 tablespoon of lecithin granules, 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed with 4 or 5 big spoonfulls of instant oats.  On certain days, I add in dried cranberries. (like in this photo)

Oats, Lecithin, Flaxseed, Apple and Cranberry

Add in low fat milk. (My sis insists we drink low fat milk at home, so that's the only milk we buy now)

Oats, Lecithin, Flaxseed, Apple and Cranberry

I use instant oats because it does not need cooking. I love sleeping and rush to work every morning. So instant oats is the way to go for me. I also don't like warm milk. ;-p

I think it's delicious, but sis does not like it. LOL
She likes her Special K.

What do you have for breakfast? Do you think you will eat what I eat?

This looks incredible! I make something similar with soymilk, instant oats and pomegranate. http://fittravellingfoodie.blogspot.com/2009/12/recipe-pomegranate-oatmeal.html

I also eat 4 egg whites for the protein. If I lived in SIngapore though I;d be eating kaya and pumpkin seed butter toast everyday!

Halimah,

Yes, it's yummy and nutritious!
For the more stricter vegans, they can opt for soy milk in it :-)

Y,
I got my ground flexseeds from Fairprice Finest. I think most fairprice or cold storage sells them too.

Anon,
Oh yes, i will try peanut butter next time. I put peanut butter in my salad dressings sometimes.

MAJL,
Looks like I can replace my apples with pomegranates next time. My sis will love your site. She's been exercising and eating healthy for the last few months and she has lost weight she is looking good now!

Meg,
I am drinking NZ milk! hehe.

Hehe, I love the fact we started on nearly the same breakfast about the same time too - mine is organic rolled oats, raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed and whatever fresh fruit I can get my hands on... in cold soya milk/hot water; no moo moo milk! :P

And now I get to see yours! Yayness.
