Fried Kway Teow @ Amoy Street Food Centre

After posting yesterday's post. I had the cravings for Fried Kway Teow! (Don't laugh!)

So, for tonight's dinner, I went to Amoy Street Food Centre and had Fried Kway Teow at the corner store. It also happens to be Stall 01-01! The stall does not have any fanciful time, but just the name of what it sells.

I was really hungry, so I opted for the $3 version.
Yummy. It had around 16 cockles in it.

Where is your favourite Fried Kway Teow stall?

Fried Kway Teow
Stall 01-01
Amoy Street Food Centre
MND Building Annexe B
7 Maxwell Road
Singapore 069111

The official address states Maxwell Road, but it's along Telok Ayer Street ;-)

Haha I was just going to comment on your previous post why there isn't a food photo! Coz yours is a Singapura Daily Makan Photo blog.

Then you post your CKT. :)

I think I will try the CKT at Lau Pa Sat you ate just the other day.

I love the CKT from Peter@Jago. It was formerly from the corner coffeeshop at Jago Place, Katong. But now it has moved to Blk 18 Bedok South Ave 1, right across from the market food centre that has the famous hill street CKT. However, Peter's CKT has more wok-hei aroma and not overly sweet. Plus he will put yummy barh you porh on request. Has lotsa liao, egg and hum on an authentic opeh leaf. He will be at Bedok South for 3 months depending on the response. He laments that not many know about his sudden move and hope that with word of mouth and more crowds, he can stay at his current location for good. Unlike Hill Street, Peter's is open from morning 10.30am to night time 11pm. Go try!

Hallelujah! Char Kway Teow located @ Zion Road Food Centre.

A Makansutra Legend that serves a mean plate of CKT with a good "Wok Hei" flavour to it.
