He Sheng Mei Shi @ Dover Food Centre

This was lunch last week with colleagues. We went over to Dover Food Centre and on the way there, someone suggested sharing zhi char, and so we did. We were quite 'sian' (tired) of thinking what to eat. We ate at He Sheng Mei Shi because it's one of our colleague, 'old cat's' favourite place.

As usual, someone will ask a few person to 'name a dish' / 'order a dish', so here's what we ended up with.

Sweet and Sour Pork.

Sambal Fan Su Ye.
This young shoots are really nice.

Instead of having whole fish, not everyone fancy the bones, so we had fish slices instead.

This really crispy and light prawn paste chicken was quite nice.

This claypot tofu dish was ok except it should have had more gravy.

Eating these kind of dishes, of course we have to go with rice. ;-)

Good ol rice

We were quite surprised that it was only $49 for the above.

Really happy to read the article ! The stall has been our family favourite since the 90s. Any info on its new location ?
