This is today's lunch that I had with my colleagues. The only lunch this week that's not eaten in 10 mins, and rushed back to work.
We went to Cafe on the Ridge at the NUSS (NUS Society) Kent Ridge Guildhouse.
Before we came in, most of us had Nasi Goreng in our mind. It seems most of us just come here for Nasi Goreng. Why? Because we think it's the most value for money and they serve it almost instantly.
But when we got the nice green menu (above photo), everyone changed their mind and decide they would eat something else and said, they can give me more photo opp. LOL....
DP had the Curry Chicken Set. The curry looks good ya! $8
'Old Cat' decided to stick to what he came here for. The Nasi Goreng. $8.50
I still think it looks and smells and taste good.
Look at the fried chicken and the rendang closeup. It's so tempting ya?
ZS had the Aglio Olio. It looks good ya, the prawns and scallops that comes with it. $15
JSFR had Graduate Club Sandwich. Triple layer sandwich with quite a lot of meat, salad and crisps on the side. $8.50
I had the Chicken Rice. $8
OK lah. But I think I should stick to Nasi Goreng next time to be even more satisfied. LOL...
I was asked if I wanted chicken thigh or the breast meat. I opted for the thigh.
They removed the bones.
The rice... for today I felt that I need to be a 'fan tong'. hehe..
(I am sure for many of you, on some days, you just feel like having a bowl of fragrant rice right?)
ZS paid for our lunch. Thanks!
Visit his blog if you are a techie. ;-)
To get in this place, you got to be a NUSS member or ask someone who works in NUS to bring you in. ;-)

Wow, everything looks so yummy! But I have a weakness for curry, so the one that DP chose appeals to me most! I'm hungry already... ^_^
Why not open to NUH staff as well since NUS and NUH is so near. SOB~
The chicken curry is _really good_. Had it a few weeks ago.. another thing to try include their sirloin in red wine reduction ($18) very good and cheap.
Alcy
The curry did smell really good. I was too shy to ask him for some to try. LOL...
Anon,
Grab a prof/doc who is attached to the Medicine faculty to bring you along lah. :-)
Polar,
The Sirloin suggestion sounds good!
Keropok: Next time you are around COM1 call me la. :D
Aglio Olio, please... I hope I said it correctly.
Polar
OK! If you are around and not in another country!
