Forture Seafood Steamboat @ Bukit Timah Road

Dinner with family at Forture Seafood Steamboat on National Day. None of us got tickets to watch it live, so we ate dinner instead. :-)

A mental note, we shall not have soup here next time. Not very appetizing. Maybe the weather that day was so humid and warm too.

Watercress Soup

But other food's not bad though.
The fried brinjals with meat floss. We love brinjals, we love meat floss, so we love this dish! haha..
(by the way is this a Hinghwa dish? if you happen to know?)

Fried Brinjals with Floss

The Curry Fish Head.
It was ok, think the humid weather made us enjoy this dish less.
(The aircon rooms were fully booked that day.)

Curry Fish Head

This is something quite yummy.
Prawns with Creamy Salted Eggs. You can have the version with shells on or without. We were lazy and had the shells off. Salted Egg fans should try this.

Prawns

One of their famous dishes is the Herbal Chicken.

Interestingly, the food here is not easily identifiable without your description.

Photo Sg,
Hungry is good! hehe..

Pentel,
Ya, herbal chicken are usually steamed in aluminium foil and plastic. Sounds a bit 'dangerous', but many places do it.

We just don't eat it too often. hehe...
