Raffles Hotel Wedding Luncheon (Part 1)

If you have been following my other blog, you can guess that the food section will follows the occasion.

It was a western Wedding Lunch, instead of the traditional Chinese 8 Course Dinner. It's something quite refreshing.

The pictures were all taken without flash, so its a bit yellowish, as the ballroom was litted very dimly with warm lights.

Here it goes:
The menu for the food.

The Napolean Crab & Barley Salad with Tomato Gazpacho & Virgin Olive Oil.
I actually quite like this!

Different types of bread rolls were served.

Wild Mushroom Consomme Brunoise of Vegetable.
We were all wondering what it was. haha.. But it tasted good. Took this with flash, else everything's black! :-p

There was a choice of Fish or Chicken. I took the Chicken.
Roasted Chicken Breast, Natural Jus Garnish with Port Wine Risotto, Sauteed Asparagus Spears, Confit of Vine Ripened Tomato.

(As usual, when I posted around 5 photos, the rest goes into the next's days :-) )
