Swenson's @ IMM

Part II of cousin's birthday that we celebrated with other cousins. Ya, we got a big family.
The kids wanted Swenson's. So off we went to Swenson's.

(The adults were thinking, err Swenwon's ah... but OK lah... It is better than Swenson's of long ago. haha.. )

While waiting for others to arrive, we ordered some appetizers first. Most of us were famished! So here's the Calamari Rings.

Stuffed Mushrooms. These are not bad!

Deep Fried Mushrooms

Some new stuff on their menu, Spice 'n' Chic.

Rodeo Wings. Hmmm...

Uncle and a few persons shared this. Clam Chowder in Sourdough.
We were thinking of the sourdough bread in San Francisco while having this. Of course the one in SF is nicer. :-)

Guess what I had for dinner? Oriental Beef Salad!
I think I got to cut down on what I eat! hehe.... This salad is very huge.

You can be quite full eating just this salad. (I had a soup of the day to go too)

The smallest amongst us had the Children's meal.
The mini burger.

I can't remember who had what... but here's what one of us had:

The Teriyaki Chicken Pasta.

Fish and Chips

Crayfish Pasta. I think the birthday girl had this.

Pesto Salmon Saute.

With all the above, we were quite full. No one can eat anymore food. But just for the fun of it, aunt ordered a mini mini 'ice cream cake'. :-)

3 scoops of ice cream

Ice cream is still the nicest thing to have in Swenson's. LOL...

There is absolutely no way I can justify flying home via Singapore. NONE. I'd have to eat at least a dozen meals in SIN... That's a whole, separate, decadent holiday, friend!!!

Oh Meg
You can't possibly eat so much if you only do a transit. hehe..

I remember eating ice-cream at Swensen's in Singapore when I was a kid, like 30 years ago.
