My aunt brought us to try another branch of the Old Pontian Cafe. She said the one at Bukit Panjang sticks a "not available" sticker over so many dishes, it's annoying isn't it? The branch at Lot One at Choa Chu Kang however sells everything on the menu. It is also bigger, busier and lively! She told us to that she and her friends like the Prawn Noodles here and we should try it.
We hard their mini fried wontons. The fried wontons does look nicer here. Crispy and not dark and over-fried. Instead of mayo, I ate it with their pickled green chillies. The green chillies here are so crunchy! I think it goes well with fried food. ;-)
Momo had the Prawn Noodles Soup version.
She found it very tasty. The soup's nice. (Though it does not look nice here)
Aunt had the Prawn Noodle Dry Version. Aunt likes it.
Thinking back I should have ordered the dry one.
I thought I will try something different and ordered the Curry Noodles.
It looks nicer than Momo's Prawn Noodles right? But taste wise, it's not what it looks. haha...
The soup's watery. It's not the thick coconut milk based soup that I was thinking it was. This version is without the coconut milk I think.
But the big popiah was tasty. We always like the popiah here.
If you are here, try the prawn noodles or pontian noodles, not other things. But if they have modified their recipe for other food and you have tasted it, let me know. ;-)

I've just realised that you used to mention the price of the foods on the blog. It would really help if you can resume doing that :) Thanks a whole lot :)
Hi NgocDung
I try to if I can remember the price. Most of the time, we are enjoying the food instead of thinking about blogging. hehe..
Maybe your curry noodles should be called "Curry Soup Noodles" ;-)
