Our church Young Adults had a BBQ on Valentine's Day. Our creative friends even made a promotional video for the event. I think it's very well done, and I would like to share it with you all.
It's called the Baba Barbeque. Ya, one of our friend acted as 'Chen Xi'. LOL...
Here's some photos of the BBQ.
Lots of feta cheese for feta cheese fans!
Trays of Fried Bee Hoon, Fried Rice.....
Maybe the only thing Peranakan, these kueh kuehs. LOL.
Salad...
Hummus dip with paprika. It goes well with the pita bread we had.
( I actually dip it with satay, and I think it's not too bad)
The Satay... Chicken and Lamb.
It was nice to have people BBQ-ing and the rest of us eating. LOL..
These beef pieces are really good. Yummy...
These are the spicy devil wings. Too too spicy!
Yes, we are not suppose to BBQ with fire like this, but once a while, the fire flares up, and you see all the girls go towards it with sticks of marshmallows!
Perfect fire for marshmallows ya.
Someone's pita bread with the roast beef, etc...
The next event is the Southern Ridges Walk. If you are interested, you can join us too.

My father is a huge fan of pita bread and I always try to bake one for him whenever we see my parents. He has yet to be fully blown away by any of the recipes i've tried. Simplicity is key, and yours looks perfect! Can't wait to try it
