This is a recent discovery. It is a place that we have been having many dinner when no one wants to cook. We find the food here quite nice and the price is very reasonable too.
Our cousins came over few days ago and we came to place to have dinner. The black KL Hokkien Mee. For those who loves the lardy taste, they sure are generous with it. Nice.
The soup of the day, water cress soup.
It's carbo day for all the carbo lovers. Fried Rice...
We tried a few of the pork stuff, but still the pork rib King is the best. (We don't like their sweet and sour pork, haha..)
The sambal kangkong. It's very spicy and the wok hei's there.
The Fried Chicken Thai Style is also quite nice.
Top it all off, the last carbo of the night. A big plate of Hor Fun. (think we should have ordered the small instead. too much!)
Everytime we pass by this place, there's always a long queue with people ta-powing their Hor Fun and other noodles. Most of the above are medium size, except Hor Fun large and two big bowls of soup. It was $67. It fed 6 adults 2 teens and 1 kid and we can't really finish. So order less carbo. :-)

Oooh. The BLACK Hokkien Mee. With the LARDiest taste ever. Yums.
And a long queue is (usually) a good indication of the quality of the food, eh? :)
Slurp...makes me so hungry!!! Miss the hor fun!
aye i always run by toh yi how come i dunno abt this. which coffee shop one? beside the community centre one? haha
LFB
There are usually two reasons for long queues:
1. nice food
2. the people preparing food very very slow.
:-)
danny,
wollonggong has no similar food? I think there should be right? maybe not as nice. LOL
brad,
yes, the one beside the Commmunity Club. ( i just realised they renamed all the CC as Club instead of Centre now. why? hmmmm)
