Kampong Fried Chicken @ 34 Dover Road

This was part of lunch few days ago. Someone told someone that told someone that the Fried Chicken at the coffee shop beside Dover Market is quite nice.

So we decided we shall try it though it was like 3rd or 4th hand information. LOL.
Hmmm, after a walk in the extremely hot weather these few days, we thought that it was not wise to eat fried chicken. *heaty!*

So, we ordered our porridge, mixed rice, noodles etc. But since we are here, we shall try it. So 'wire' ordered the spring chicken to share. $6.50.

The Stall and Price

It's a whole bird that was deep fried. Taste wise it is not too shabby. It's crispy, and I think it was a little salty that's why it taste nice. :-)

We thought it look quite large for a spring chicken. Then when we rip it apart to eat, we realise it's a spring chicken after all. The bird has been sliced to flatten it out so that it cooks more evenly.

The Spring Chicken

If you noticed, all of us had "Jia Jia Liang Cha" to cool down. LOL...

I personally prefer the Filipino fried chicken at Lau Pa Sat. But this one ok lah. If you like crispy chicken.
