Last meal for the year.... Sushi Tei @ Holland Village

The last meal we had for the year 2007 was Japanese. I had some Sushi Tei vouchers and wanted to use them up. Met up with Uncle, Aunt and cousin with sis at the HV branch.

I was late. Oops.. So when I got there, everyone's already eating. The ebi uramaki and unagi uramaki was ready for me to eat.

We also had some sashimi. (The vouchers gave this Asama for free)

With the Hokkaido promotion now on, we ordered the giant chawanmushi. It feeds 3 or 4 persons. And look, it's not fake crab sticks, it's the whole pieces of real crab meat. yummy!

Sis likes this baked crab thingy, every time we are here, she orders this. We also had the baked scallops, which is also very delicious!

The vouchers also gives us a free Dragon Roll. It's really good. 1 huge prawn that's so nicely done and made into rolls with avocado slices over it. Aunt loved the crispy prawn head that was so fragrant very much.

See, the prawn's huge inside eh...

The egg roll with unagi wrap. It comes warm and delicious! Nice thick warm eggs. ah....

Sis wanted some hot soup, so we called her a teapot soup! haha..

Remember, I posted this too for a meal at Inagiku?

We ordered this so that little cousin can 'play with food'.
Why are we calling her little when in 2008, she'll be in P6!

This is Gyu Miso Yaki.

You cook it according to how 'done' you want it to be. Cousin did a good job. ;-)

We also filled ourselves with 3 carbo dishes: Curry Rice, Curry Udon and Garlic Rice.

The bill was $140 something before we presented the vouchers. With the vouchers for the free Asama and Dragon Roll, 2 $10 vouchers, 10% using Sushi Tei card, the bill shrunk to $88.48 ;-)

Alas, the Sushi Tei Credit Card is being discontinued, wonder if it's because all of us who have the card have been given too much discounts? haha... It becomes a loyalty card on 31 Jan 08.

So, what was your last meal for the year 2007?

Christmas Dinner @ Sembawang

This year we had our Christmas dinner after Christmas. Why? We were all away from Singapore and only back after Christmas. This year it was hosted by our relatives in Sembawang.

5 photos of the many food we had. It's a mix of Ang Mor Food and Asian Food. haha..

For the Ang Mor Food:

Aunt roasted a turkey, this shot is taken in her kitchen in Toh Yi before being transported to Sembawang. :-) Delicious looking eh? Home baked turkey taste the best.

Ball of Ham

Our niece mad tiramisu. (but where's the lady fingers, we were wondering. haha..)

The Asian food, we had:

Pan fried dumplings

Green Curry too.

plus fried bee hoon, roasted chicken wings, roast pork, vegies, etc...

It was good. Have a very Blessed Christmas.

[sorry for the backdated post, too busy doing so many things...]

Awfully Chocolate

Tonite, we had our usual monthly makan gathering. We were suppose to have it at a friend's new place, but the couple said it isn't quite ready yet, so it ended up at our place.

It was a pot luck, and arrghh.. I forgot to take the food photos! Only remembered it when we finished our food. But phew... there's still a dessert that was not touched! LOL.

We had like 27 people tonite.

K & P brought this delicious cake. It has an awful name, but it was good.

Every month we will celebrate someone's birthday, so we placed this Happy Birthday plastic thingy on the cake, and sang the birthday song and posed for photos. haha...

Want some?

If you are going to ask me where to get it? Here's the address from the box.

It was served with some homemade ice cream I made. Chardonnay Mango Ice Cream. Still experimenting with my ice cream. haha..

Santa Cake Jelly

Hmmm if I don't post this, I guess there wont be a chance to post it till next year! haha...

A colleague brought this to office just the other day. Not sure about you, but we like to have mini parties for like 15-30 mins around 3-4 PM when we get a chance. It's like a power snack, we get so energize to work after! LOL.

Doesn't it look nice? We thought it was a cake then realise it is a big huge jelly!

It was delicious. Thanks ZS!

Carl's Jr @ Plaza Singapura

I am back from holidays, been away for a week, and have to thank Momo for taking over :-)

Err, I ran out of photos to post! I have not been eating in Singapore for 7 days. haha.. I have lots of photos eaten the last 7 days, but they are not eaten in Sg, so can't post them here.

Anyway, just before I left last week, sis and I had Carl's Jr. The last time I had it was when they first arrived, been such a long time, that I can't remember. We saw earlier their big huge advertisement on the bus, we walked over.. haha...

There was some special burger (sorry, can't remember what it was). The person asked, single, double or triple. I thought it was small, medium or large. Haha.. I feel so silly now.

The fries...

The burger...

I am so 'sua ku'. I never knew fastfood cost so much! The fries, burger and a drink cost $14.00
It's going to be a while before I come here again. :-p

Galatissimo @ Shaw House

I have always wanted to try the gelato at Shaw House but never got a chance too. Last week, i just had to eat that and promptly walked over there after dinner with friends.

I choose the passion fruit one. It was very passion-fruity and yummy. You could bite into the seeds too ;)

Try it! Some people say you never try gelato until you have tried this one.

The Mussel Guys

A Blessed Christmas to all. May this Christmas be a meaningful season for you. Season of feasting? ;) Haha.

Thought that most Christmas lunches would be of turkey, ham and beef. Hence, wanted to try out something different. Went with Dino and Eds to a mussel place in Vivocity. Rather crowded.

Was quite hungry, so i started with soup. Tried the chef's recommendation - Chowderful Mussel Soup. Nothing much to rave about, its just soup with a mussel sticking out.

3 of us shared 3 different types of mussels.
Steamed Mussels. Tasty with white wine sauce. And i think all of us are addicted to the alcohol in it! ;)

Sambal ones. This has lots of garlic.

Baked Cheese ones. This actually goes well with the sambal sauce from above.

It was quite a musselful lunch. I quite like the steam ones best.

Happy Holidays to all!

The Fusion Bowl

It was a cold day and a colleague said, i want to have "qing" soup today. Whenever she says that, its means we are going to have macaroni for lunch. So off we are go to downstairs to pack this. Pack because there are very few tables to sit at this place and its crowded that we just pack it upstairs to the pantry to eat.

Its a very light, yet flavourful soup. No signs of MSG. It has carrots, mushrooms and chicken mince with macaroni. It goes best with their little red cut chilli.

Not something very spectacular, but have to eat light before feasting for Christmas and New Year.

Just duck porridge from the Food Center opposite the former Ginza Plaza. (When it reopens again, it will be called West Coast Plaza)

I am away from Singapore until after the Christmas holidays. Postings might be slow.
If Momo is free, she will be posting on my behalf.

Prince Taiwan Porridge @ Cheong Chin Nam Road

Last Wednesday nite, we attended a concert that our cousin was performing in. Had to rush there after work. Met sis and off we went and met uncle and aunt. After the concert, we headed to Cheong Chin Nam Road to have supper.

It's late and we seldom have supper, so we opted for porridge. We ate at the Taiwanese Porridge shop, just beside Killeney.

You can have rice or porridge with sweet potato. We all had porridge.

The Mei Cai Kou Rou that we had.

Sze Chuan Vegetables with Pork. I like szechuan vegetable anything! haha..

The Chai Por Egg. I like Chai Por with anything too!

The Inoki Mushroom, Shitake Mushroom and Pork.

The Fried Beef.

This is a place to add to the list of where to get late nite makan. It seems that the Cantonese Porridge shop a few doors away is very packed. But Aunt who lives in the area said, prefer hot food rather than cantonese style where the food is cold only the porridge is hot. :-)

Cafe Cartel @ IMM

Last Sunday night, Momo, sis and I, we went to IMM to eat and buy some ingredients. Colleagues are coming the next day to eat my homemade ice cream. It's still in experimental stage and they don't care. They are willing to be guinea pigs. I made banana, honey and ferrero rocher ice cream.

Anyway, back to dinner photos, we had food at Cafe Cartel. It has been a long time since we stepped into one, because the queue is always so long. There was a queue, however when we wanted a table for 3, it was readily available! woo hoo!

I had the St Louis Pork Ribs. I seem to always have this when I step in here.

Sis had the Chicken Chef's Salad.

Momo had the Hawaiian Pork Chop.

They were all delicious. We think the Hawaiian Pork Chop wins!

Want to know what they serve? It's all at their website if you have the time.

Fong Seng Nasi Lemak @ Clementi Road

Few days ago, colleagues and I we went to Fong Seng Nasi Lemak along Clementi Road to have lunch. Realise that we all did not really ordered real Nasi Lemak. So the photos are not of Nasi Lemak! haha..

But the Chicken Wings at Fong Seng is one of the things that most people will eat. Btw, that's not oil, but the gravy from the veg. :-)

We all ordered rice with the various dishes. Should have taken pictures of people around who are really eating Nasi Lemak.

You can see all the food recommendation posters on the Bain Marie that has all the delicious fried stuff! :-)

Buffet Lunch @ Oscar's - Conrad Centennial Lunch

We had a farewell lunch for a colleague today. He has been around for so long and suddenly we found out he is leaving! We are sad that he is leaving, yet happy that he is looking forward to a new job.

We were suppose to go to Carousel at RP, but it was fully booked. Actually, 8 out of 10 places we called were fully booked! Everyone's having a feast these few days!!! We ended up here at Oscar's, Conrad Centennial Singapore which still had places. We should have booked earlier.

The mains are so so / ok / fabulous (it all depends on people right?), but here's a pretty picture for you. Yabby!

What all of us enjoyed was the desserts section. Absolutely delicious!

This is Hot Chocolate Pudding. Topped with a delicious scoop of ice cream.
Pudding that is so warm and soft and chocolatey, ok, with choc chip ice cream with a fancy name that i can't remember. :-)

OK, I topped up with a piece of chocolate that so deliciousss.....

Other than the chocolate pudding, there's also the warm waffle.
Yes, topped up with ice cream as well.

I love the chocolates there. I think it should me made by the hotel.
Lovely. Oh... I stress so lovely...

Lots and lots of desserts, but did not take photos of them. Busy eating and chatting.

Here is a photo of the dessert bar in front and the rest of the mains bar behind, and the kitchen right behind the big panels.

All the best KP, wishing you a good year and great start for your new job.

Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao @ Marina Square (II)

Continuation from yesterday's post..

Uncle had Chicken Soup La Mian. It comes with plain dry la mian.

Cousin shared with Aunt the Pai Ku La Mian.
The la mian here is the soupy one. Lots of la mian! We would have ordered less if we knew earlier the portions were big.

It's at Level 2, Marina Sq if you are interested to try it.

Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao @ Marina Square

For lunch today, we ended up at Marina Square again! Just like last Sunday, it was impossible to go to Raffles City carpark. Marina seems to be the place with the most carpark in the area.

Walking around, we somehow ended up at Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao. Initially we thought it was Crystal Jade, then realise, it was Imperial Treasure when we saw the menu. haha..

What did we eat?

Coming into a restaurant with the name Xiao Long Bao, of course we have to try their XLB. The skin texture is different, but it taste good. Enough 'soup' inside and a tad generous with the salt :-) But it was good.

The sister of XLB would be Guo Tie, it's the pan fried sis. I always prefer the steam ones than the fried one. Just my preference, but others says it was good. Passed little cousin's tastebuds, so can make it. :-)

As we had two little girls today, they shared this Fried La Mian. I tried some, it reminds me of Char Kuey Teow. Instead of CKT, it's La Mian. Quite tasty.

For me, I wanted something spicy, so I had Suan La Tang La Mian. I like it because it's not sour. The bowl is huge, look at the big spoon, I recommend sharing it with another person.

Yong Tau Foo & Laksa @ NUS Arts Canteen

Yesterday, we abandon our normal colleagues whom we usually have lunch with, and join other colleagues. We went to the NUS Arts Canteen. As the exams are finally over, the canteen's the best place to eat now! Very few students are coming in!

However, we saw nearly 50 kindergarten children though, all walking into the canteen while we were eating. Wah. Kindergarten children and they are already having visits to Universities! What an early head start!

I finally tried the acclaimed Yong Tau Foo stall in the Arts Canteen. The queue was the shortest!

It's famous you know! Look at the awards and the newspaper article pasted there. Many colleagues says so too.

What did I order, both Yong Tau Foo & Laksa in a bowl!
I kinda like the laksa gravy. It's thick enough but not overly thick with the 'jelak' feeling. The Yong Tau Foo stuff's really fresh too.

8 diff pieces of YTF, kuey teow and laksa gravy.
Only $2.40 (8 pieces : 1.80, noodles : .30, laksa gravy : .30)

OK, let me post the price list, zoomed in from the first picture above.

Have a good weekend!

Soup Restaurant @ Paragon

On Wednesday, colleague had some business to settle in town quickly, so we followed his car to Orchard Rd for lunch. He got his stuff done very quickly and we settled for lunch.

We were deciding what to eat, and when someone suggested white chicken, we ended up here. :-)

If you love soft peanuts, the ones here are irresistible to us.

Usually, when you come here, many people either have the Ah Kong or Ah Ma "Fan Su Ye".
We took the spicy one which is Ah Kong Fan Su Ye. This is a very popular dish here.

We also had the boiled soup of the day. It happened to be corn and pork soup. Lovely.

Aha! Why we were here for. The Samsui Ginger Chicken. We had 4 persons and we had the large one! Yes, we wallop it all. We were told it had 40 pieces. That's something new to us.

We thought we wanted more veg, so we had the Yao Mak Chye with Black Bean.

This is called Eleven Tong Poh Pork.
It's quite yummy you know! Lard lovers indulge! It is actually one whole piece of meat and they manage to cut it up and raised the middle. How did they do it?

We were very satisfied.

Ministry of Food の My Izakaya @ Marina Square

Last Sunday afternoon, uncle, cousin and I, we were waiting in a long queue to go in the Raffles City carpark, we decided, why not break off the queue and head to Marina Square instead. It has been a long time since we went there. We go there and found lots of parking! :-)

Little cousin was promised Jap food, so we looked around and decided to try Ministry of Food の My Izakaya. It has signs that say no MSG, no preservative, etc... Sounds good!

I just did a search. Izakaya means pub in Japanese. This place does not look like a pub at all.

Cousin seems to like Salmon Sashimi a lot these few weeks. Here's her order of it. It came served over shaved ice. Cool! (pun not intended)

Cousin also had Tempura Udon.

Uncle had Tempura Soba.

Both of the above came with a plate of ebi tempura. Looks good.

It was a super cold day, so I ordered Miso Spicy Ramen. Spicy enough to warm me up! :-)
I was wondering how did they prepare the egg. It was hard boiled egg, yet the yoke is soft!

What tempted us in this place is not the above, but the desserts pictures that we saw! We decided to give it a try. So, we ordered the Macha Zen. Red Bean Green Tea Ice Cream with lots of red bean paste and dango. Very nice if you are a red bean fan! Heard that these red beans are all from Hokkaido.

This is Macha Imo. Very nice! Rich Hokkaido milk ice cream, with warm sweet potato and yam that is deep fried. Plus the red bean. Lovely!

The desserts are very sweet, but Japanese desserts are meant to be like this. Eat it with green tea and it should go very well. :-)

Makan Gathering @ Clementi Park

Thanks to M, CP for organising the makan session. I have not seen a few persons for a long time and never met others. It was a good time and delicious food too. Those who are wondering, it was an old ancient OCFers meeting. haha.

(btw, Clementi Park is not a Garden/Park, but a condominium. haha....)

The host cooked a delicious pasta and crisp garlic bread for us.

Looks like the kids really loved this. Esp J.B's son. :-)

Others brought food. There was chicken as well.

I made this - Fruit & Veg Salad, that I have not made for a long long time.

A delicious apple pie and chocolate ice cream.

With two kinds of grape juice. Fermented ones for adults and non fermented ones for kids. Actually Ribena is not grape juice right? Hmmm...

Those who wants the recipe, I can only provide the ones for the fruit salad :-)

1 Green Apple
2 Fuji Apple
1 Red Capsicum
1 Yellow Capsicum
4 sticks celery
1 pack of cherry tomatoes
1 pack of baby carrots
1 box of green seedless grapes
1 handful of english parsley
4 pieces of sundried tomatoes
2 green lime
splash of extra virgin olive oil.

Apples to be cubed. Capsicum in rings. Celery sliced thinly, around 3 mm, slanting it when sliced. Baby carrots cut into half, sliced slanted. Grapes, sliced off the top from the stems so it looks neat, pulling it makes it err, not so nice. Cherry tomates also in halves and cut slanted. Parsley finely chopped. Sundried tomatoes are thinly sliced.

What I mean by slanted is cutting is 45 degrees. Imagine the blue portion below is the tomato or the baby carrots, cut at the red line :-)

It looks nicer and there are more area exposed to the lime and olive oil dressing. (Yup, the dressing is only Lime and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, healthy and light)

I usually put them in 2 big zip lock bags. Divide everything into two lots, toss everything in, and do the "salad dance". Store them in the fridge. Serve in a big bowl when your guest arrives.

Boon Lay Raja Seafood and Sharksfin Restaurant @ Jurong East

Was too busy yesterday to post. I thought I did, but only realised this morning that I forgot! Sorry if you expected something for Sunday. Today's post will have 'double issue'. (ie. more photos)

Last Friday, one colleague said, let's go have something different. He will treat. Two of us needed to return some library books, so we headed to the Jurong East Library.

Aha! After returning our books, we remembered Boon Lay Raja that we have not gone for sometime. We headed towards it.

Can't decide what to eat, we opted for the set meal. 3 of us only, the person paying said, it's ok. Take the $50 set that's for 3-4 persons. We were very pleased with the food.

This is the Thai Style fish. It's very well done. The sauce makes you want to eat more!

This is tofu with prawns inside. Yes, whole prawns in it, and it comes with mayo dips.

Celery with scallops.

Broccoli, tofu with different types of mushroom. Excellent.

Sweet and Sour Pork. I won't refuse this coz it's one of my fav food.

It comes with desserts too. Very milky but very refreshing as well.

If you realise, we are chicken feet pple! We ordered two trays of dim sums.
Chicken Feet is one way to test how good a chinese restaurant is right?
Yes, it's good. Much better than our frequently NUH Chook Feet. haha...

This Har Gao is good too!

Wondering where it is?

Anyway, a colleague wanted to buy an ironing board to replace the one at home that broke into 2! Err.. How did it happen? Their part time helper broke it, that's what they say. haha...

Anyway, a few of us got Daily Specials, which is Nasi Goreng. It changes daily. You can view their website to know what's the Daily Meal for that day you are visiting.

There are also those, who only eat meatballs.

What is this? Hey, it's actually mock meat! It looks so real ya?

Tonkichi @ Takashimaya Shopping Centre

Wow, I just show the sauce in yesterday's post and there are people who actually can name the restaurant and the dish! I am so so impressed!

Yes, Evolution_FreeStyles, ryozan and Camemberu is so right. Yesterday, we went to Tonkichi at Takashimaya 4th floor and had Tonkatsu!

Momo had the Hire Katsu. It looks delicious eh?
On the menu, it says it is premium healthy pork! 4 pieces of it. The veg behind can be topped up if you like more.

For me, I suddenly turned healthy and did not take any fried food!
I had Ton Shabu. White Pork instead, and it look so so healthy right? It's very delicious as well!

I love the cucumber pickle below too, and the extremely fiery wasabi! It's the 'shoot right up the head' kind of potency. It comes with a bowl of sauce as well, but it taste very good with the sesame tonkatsu sauce for Momo's dish.

My set came with this delicious bamboo dish too. Too bad it was only a small bowl.
Ooops, some of my wasabi dropped in. :-)

Both were sets, and they came with very good rice and the usual pickles and Miso Soup.

Actually, we also had Cawanmushi. Picture looks usual, so not here.
Plus, Tonjiru. This is actually Miso Soup as well, plus "lots of other nice stuff", quoting the lady who was taking our order. haha..

It really is nice, much nicer than the Miso soup that came with it. There's meat, toufu, bamboo shoots, etc... But you got to have a high tolerance of sodium though :-)

Have a wonderful Friday!

Oh... if you want to know more about yesterday's photo, visit Camemberu's entry about her wonderful Tonkatsu in Japan. I want to try it too!!!

We were playing with food at a Jap place.

Earlier tonite, went with Momo to have dinner. OK, let's have a game. Anyone can guess where this place is and what are we playing with?

After we ordered our food, this came to the table. Hmmm. (we were suaku!) We had to asked what was it for? Toasted white sesame was the reply.

We were suppose to grind them. Then pour the 'x' sauce into it, to go with one of the dishes.

We did not grind them too fine, so that we can still have some 'bits' of it. I wonder if it's suppose to be like that. The moment we crushed them, it smell so so good!

Anyway, we poured in 'x' sauce in.

Then stir.....

Anyone knows what sauce was poured in? :-)

Ayam Cobek @ Java Kitchen

I was walking around the foodcourt the other day and I saw this. Ayam Cobek. I was thinking, what is the different between Ayam Cobek and Ayam Penyet?

Well, I guess they look almost the same, except for Penyet, it is crushed or hammered. (Yes, I see them hammer the chicken! for one stall before)

Anyway, here's the photos. I like most of it, except this version of the tempe is not to my liking! haha.. I guess I like my tempeh only in Sambal belachan.

Any kind of fried chicken is always OK for me!

Goodness! The lady at this Java Kitchen stall at Food Republic at Vivo was practically flirting with all the customers. Everyone is "eh eh handsome, want to try Ayam Cobek?", "Very very nice Indonesian Food", "Thank you, when you miss me, come back to visit again".

Any Indonesian can let me know the difference between Cobek and Penyet?

Update: I found out the meaning of Cobek from an online friend, 'Sylvia G'. Cobek is the stone plate thingy where the sambal is ground. Haha.. and the Sambal is almost hidden in my photos!

Kopitiam Foodcourt @ National University Hospital

People think we are nuts when we say we want to have hospital food. Not the ones patients eat, but unhealthy but tasty ones meant for the healthy people. haha..

Colleagues and I call the Kopitiam Foodcourt at the NUH Kent Ridge Wing as the Chicken Feet place. Our nickname for places we want to go. We call it chicken feet because we will always order chicken feet here! No need for the photos, posted too many times of it.

4 of us ate from the same stall today. The Malay food stall. 3 of us had Nasi Briyani and 1 had Ayam Penyet (yes, again!).

It's spicy but it's not too bad. But just don't drink the soup that comes with it. You know how hospital food does not taste salty, well I think they donated their salt here to make soup!

Food Republic @ VivoCity

Yesterday's lunch, was at Vivo City. (Just before going to the Arts House)

Eating at Food Courts presents you with many choices that sometimes drives you nuts! I actually walked 2 rounds before settling on what I wanted to eat. Do you walk round and round too?

Today's post is not what I ate. It's what Uncle, Cousin and Sis ate. The food all came from the same stall. Bak Kut Teh stall on the right side.

Uncle and Cousin shared two of this. Hmm it can pass a picky P5 girl taste buds, it should be good right? They shared a trotters dish.

And innards soup. Actually it does looks good right? Though I don't like eating liver. I have phobia of them. Granny used to feed this to me when I was young. Urrghh...

From the same stall, sis had Bak Kut Teh.
It's the peppery kind.

Another thing about Food Courts is, you can mix and match your food! If you like 'You Tiao', just buy them and add it to your bak kut teh!

A very warm welcome to those who went to the Food blogging discussion at the Arts House today. It was great seeing you all there.

If you wish, you can join me in my online 'food diary' daily. :-)

-------

After the talk, sis and I went over to Raffles City to meet a 'workaholic' friend for dinner. This guy with a PhD in economics goes in to work everyday! Errr....

Anyway, wanted something Chinese for dinner, we ended up at Din Tai Fung. Hey, if you go early, there's no queue! Wait was only 2 minute for them to set up the table.

We always like this appetizer dish. It's some vegetarian thingy, but it smells so good and taste yummy too. (I think we like the smell of sesame oil haha...)

Zha Jiang Mian. No, not the korean ones though.

Sweet and Sour Soup. (Suan La Tang)
If you want it sour, I think you got to add more of your own vinegar in.

Dumplings in Red Vinegar and Chilli. We like this.

Dou Miao and Prawns as the Veg dish. There's very few veg this in this place.

What is Din Tai Fung famous for? Xiao Long Bao.
Our dear friend had the soup squirted on his shirt while trying to eat it.

Uno Beef House @ Dover Multistorey Carpark

Colleague who is on reservist came back again yesterday, and he drove in during lunch time. After settling some work matters, we head off for lunch. He wanted to try Uno at the Dover Multi Storey Carpark along Commonwealth Avenue.

We reach at 11:45 am, but 'aiya!', we thought the stall was closed as the shutters were down. We later found out they only open at 12 noon. So, we waited, and talked work + nonsense as usual.

We placed our orders at noon and the food was served very quickly. Wow!

One colleague had Fish & Chips

Our reservist guy had steak. He said he was sick of the SAF food. LOL.
You can see it steaming and bubbling on the hot plate!

3 colleagues ordered the Beef Stew. Was it stew day? Why did 3 persons eat it? I guess it was good, their plates were clean. (almost as if they licked it. haha...)

I had the Pork Chop.

Overall, not too bad, we might be back :-)
