Indonesian Panggang @ Engineering Canteen, NUS.

A few of us had wanted to try this the whole of this week. Yes, the stall that won in the second week of Campus Yummy Hunt that featured food in NUS. Finally, on the last day of the week, can 'breathe' a bit after a whole week of hectic madness.

We tried it long time ago when they first opened in the Engineering canteen. After that we never went back because it was no good. Today we gave it a second chance. We wondered why it won. LOL... Someone mentioned it is because the other two competitors were weaker thats why. Hmmm.

Anyway, it was quite ok. Much improvement from last time. (which must be quite long ago!)

How did I order? Told the lady, the exact dish that was on TV. haha..

The curry over it was fragrant, but its what my mum calls the "curry powder aftertaste" kind of curry. But I like it. haha... The panggang sauce and sambal is sweetish. $2.80 only.

The pickiest colleague said, still not up to his standard. They used frozen chicken. Yes, this colleague of ours only eats fresh food. His taste bud's sensitive. But when we walked around the canteen, almost every other table has someone having it!

Are you a picky eater?

I can be a picky eater but when I'm at home, I just eat what's leftover in the fridge.

I know what you mean about the "curry powder aftertaste". :-)
