A quick lunch over at the NUS Business Canteen. It was a Tuesday and this was the special that is available on Tuesdays only.
It was very tasty and the beef was tender and was generous too. Looks clear, but it is spicy! Yum! $2.50
With Singapore's inflation hitting 6.7% last month, we got to thank food vendors like this who still maintained their prices and continue to give us delicious food.
Realized a few stalls that I frequently visit has raised their prices. Sigh...

everytime i go to biz canteen, i either eat the yong tau fu, or noodles from this viet stall. the noodles are all generally very nice, but the rice cannot make it la..
What! Singapore's inflation so high! *sigh* definitely not as cheap as I remember growing up. Thank God for hawker centre and canteen stalls.
Well, we pay AUD$8.50 for a bowl of Vietnamese beef soup noodle here and about the same for chicken rice, Hor-fun, etc. I think S'poreans complain too much.
Wow..!! at $2.50 eat a few more bowls .. :)
