Tom Ton @ The Central (Part II)

Part II of our Tom Ton lunch that started yesterday.

We saw this menu. Straight away, 4 of us said, we are having this. It takes 2 days to make the pork bone soup. Some more Black Pig!

So this is one it. The soup's so white too. It's not really that spicy as it looks.

The soup's not too salty too. It really gives you the satisfaction. There are more things submerged under the soup. Did not want to mess up the pretty sight. haha...

Ms Preggy had the cold noodles. It came in this big wide wooden container.

The soup dip...

And if I did not catch it wrongly, this is made from imported Japanese lemon. Aiya, we were too busy with our own food, we forgot to 'taste taste' Ms Preggy's food. LOL.

Another colleague, 'alert5' had this. Yes alert5 is the person who knows the people in this place.
Looks pretty ya? Sorry, forgot the name of this dish. But we did get to 'try try' alert5's lunch. The soup is yummylicious.

It has the tonkatsu. Yes, he had the special miso paste served to him.

Another colleague, 'wire' had a hot pot too. Different from the one above, this soup is more sweetish. I think its sukiyaki. We were quite intrigue by the egg. The whole egg is raw but only a tiny part of the white that is cooked. Hmm....

Nicely marbled. Want some? hehe...

OK, that's our lunch outing at Tom Ton. We have to thank 'wire' who suddenly decided to sponsor the lunch. He 'IB' back to us what we paid him via 'IB'. haha...

IB = our way of paying for our lunch, ie, Internet Banking.

Wow! This is the first time I've seen the real dish actually match what is shown on the menu! Lol.

mmh, what a feast! did the kurobuta ramen taste porky though? i scared of that gamey taste. or was it like bacon? yums!

the hotpot and sukiyaki look so colourful! the sukiyaki egg is supposed to be raw but looks like it's been dribbled with hot soup...partially cooked. is it for people who dun dare to dip their stuff into totally raw egg?
